Here’s What to Do With That Leftover Halloween Candy

Whether your kids scavenged it themselves, or (like me) you spent Sunday morning picking out the best half-off mixed bags from Walmart, there’s potentially, like, truckloads of candy in your house right now.

You could eat it all straight from the wrapper (always a good idea), but you can also get a little crafty in the kitchen and cook up these treats with the leftovers.

York Peppermint Patty Filled Brownies

I have a from-scratch recipe right here, but you could also just make these from boxed batter.

Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Oreo Truffles

Three ingredients. That’s all you need to make these sweet bites. Get the recipe here.

Candy-Covered Frozen Banana Pops

Candy-Covered Frozen Bananas

You can make top these chocolate covered frozen bananas with literally anything from the candy bag. I did Butterfinger and Reese’s cups for this recipe.

Candy Corn Mini Layer Cakes

OK, so the garnish is really the only candy in this candy-corn-inspired recipe. But I think you can make these mini cakes straight into Thanksgiving.
