In Love With… d’Orsay Flats

Bridging the gap between casual and professional, comfortable and “there’s no way those are comfortable,” d’Orsay flats might just have my heart (and wallet; all but one of these pairs is $70 or less).

Pointy toes keep it sleek. A breezy middle keeps them sexy. And the heel (which is to say, there isn’t one) means this style of shoe is as wearable as your day is long.

The Best d'Orsay Flats

I recently picked up this Nine West pair from Zappos in nude (sold out at Zappos, but available at Amazon), and they’re already the most wearable thing in my closet. They punch up a sweater and skinnies, and look great with the flared-leg jeans that are all over the blogs right now. They’re a comfortable alternative to heels for a polished work dress, or a great backup when those stilettos start to kill.

My M.O., as I feel like I’m racing towards my thirties, is to find my uniform. I think d’orsay flats are it.
