Chicken & Waffles Cupcakes with Maple Syrup Frosting

The southern litmus test: If you're drooling right now, you must have spent some time in your life below the Mason-Dixon line. Chicken and waffles (yes, served together) is a southern tradition. And let me tell you, if you want to

Here’s What to Do With That Leftover Halloween Candy

Whether your kids scavenged it themselves, or (like me) you spent Sunday morning picking out the best half-off mixed bags from Walmart, there's potentially, like, truckloads of candy in your house right now. You could eat it all straight from the wrapper

Three-Ingredient Beer Margaritas

This right here is the unicorn of summer day drinking. It's a crowd-pleaser; brewey enough for beer drinkers but completely recognizable as a margarita. So easy to put together, too. In big batches or small. With no crazy mixologist "when

Strawberry Cookie Tart

You've got to be careful when you contribute to a potluck. One too many batches of cupcakes, and you're the cupcake girl. I'm not complaining—just offering a little advice: If you're going to make something your "thing" at a potluck,

5 Delicious Beer Milkshake Recipes?

I hope you read the title of this post like Ron Burgundy, because that's exactly how I wrote it. Beer milkshakes? I'm so not sure. I love beer. I love milkshakes. On paper, this should be the best thing that's ever

How to: Get the Most Juice from a Lime

Taco night is everyone's favorite night at our house. J.R. loves them. I love how easy it is to prepare them. And our little pup Bacon loves the leftovers. We usually go pretty traditional with the tacos, adding some taco seasoning

Hello welcome to my dining room that everyone thin Hello welcome to my dining room that everyone thinks is outside when they see pictures because it gets such good light. I do not take that for granted. Thank you, skylights. Not pictured: The zero closets (zero!!), two square feet of kitchen counter, and how you cant run away for alone time when you have a fight with your partner. This is loft life.
This is an old pic of my bedroom. We took this mir This is an old pic of my bedroom. We took this mirror down to have the exposed ducts replaced around Thanksgiving, and the mirror hasn’t gone back up. No reason, just purely out of energy to put this place back together. ⁣
⁣
We’ll put it back together soon though. But in the meantime I’ve been getting dressed not based on how things look but how they feel. And that’s been strange but fun. I’m not sure I’ll keep it up when the stakes are higher than “someone I know might see me at the grocery store,” but it has felt spiritually good to not have a full length mirror for a while. ⁣
⁣
I don’t know what the lesson here is, except when you’re decorating don’t get stuck on the way things have always been or the rules about what needs to go where. Move things. Remove things. See how it changes not just the way your space looks but the way your spirit feels. ✌️
Finally getting myself into the vitamin game I sho Finally getting myself into the vitamin game I should have been in years ago. After comparing the levels in different multi-vitamins, I decided to go with @raeforwellness, with a little magnesium boost. (You should talk to your care provider to figure out what’s best for you! Every body is different.)⁣
⁣
That said, I truly wanted the convenience of daily pill packs, so I bought some minimalist pill pouches from @vitalpurse — big yellow circles for AM and big blue circles for PM. I’m adding tiny, clear day-of-the-week labels with my trusty P-Touch, because I cannot trust myself to keep track otherwise. ⁣
⁣
Wish me luck! Any tips for staying on top of a vitamin regimen?
