Things I Can’t Ignore

You know that one drink? The first one that ever made you sick? That you promised to stay away from for eternity? Mine is tequila, after somebody in the dorms convinced me that Coke was a suitable mixer for tequila. Blech. Since

I do not take that for granted. Thank you, skylights. Not pictured: The zero closets (zero!!), two square feet of kitchen counter, and how you cant run away for alone time when you have a fight with your partner. This is loft life.

We’ll put it back together soon though. But in the meantime I’ve been getting dressed not based on how things look but how they feel. And that’s been strange but fun. I’m not sure I’ll keep it up when the stakes are higher than “someone I know might see me at the grocery store,” but it has felt spiritually good to not have a full length mirror for a while. ⁣
