My Summer Playlist
Does anybody else feel like their habits and tastes are seasonal? All winter long, I was ear-deep in podcasts. When I commuted to work, I’d listen to a podcast that was creative and inspirational (The Lively Show). And on the way home, something funny and interesting (Pop Culture Happy Hour).
But now? The summer months have me feeling groovy. I’m loving the way music is lifting my soul and my spirits lately—something that’s absolutely needed when you drive an hour commute home. (Atlanta, amirite?) So here’s what’s been on my radar lately. It’s a schizophrenic mix of current pop hits, dancey hip-hop, beachy riffs and good ol’ country music.
Because I always seem to find some country roots in the summer. Always.

I don’t know anything about country so this is an awesome way to learn what some of the artists sound like. 🙂 For me summer usually means straight up classic rock!

Yesssss! I think you should put together a classic rock playlist, actually.

I am slightly ashamed to say that summer means Kelly Clarkson and N*Sync…and maybe some S Club 7…that’s right, I’m 12.
Taryn Williford
If S Club 7 is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
