Use Duct Tape as Water Bottle Party Labels

Think about the last great party you attended. What was it that made the event feel special? It’s the details; it’s the tiny things like hanging a garland or bunting or propping up labels by the food on the buffet.

Skull Shot Glass Planters

I'm a sucker for succulents. I have what they call a black thumb, which means succulents are the only thing—besides myself and hopefully the dog—that I can manage to keep alive in my care. But besides the whole "they're easy to

I do not take that for granted. Thank you, skylights. Not pictured: The zero closets (zero!!), two square feet of kitchen counter, and how you cant run away for alone time when you have a fight with your partner. This is loft life.

We’ll put it back together soon though. But in the meantime I’ve been getting dressed not based on how things look but how they feel. And that’s been strange but fun. I’m not sure I’ll keep it up when the stakes are higher than “someone I know might see me at the grocery store,” but it has felt spiritually good to not have a full length mirror for a while. ⁣

I don’t know what the lesson here is, except when you’re decorating don’t get stuck on the way things have always been or the rules about what needs to go where. Move things. Remove things. See how it changes not just the way your space looks but the way your spirit feels. ✌️
