Candy Corn Mini Layer Cakes

Layer cakes are just more festive. Period. I mean, I love cupcakes as much as the next girl, but I'm always impressed when a layer cake shows up to the party. That means business. That cake is barging in and

Spider Mason Jar Votives

I love re-purposing things, especially when it comes to holidays. Your holiday decor has a short shelf life, so you might as well use it in every way you can. Here's a great example of re-purposing from my own Halloween

Hello welcome to my dining room that everyone thin Hello welcome to my dining room that everyone thinks is outside when they see pictures because it gets such good light. I do not take that for granted. Thank you, skylights. Not pictured: The zero closets (zero!!), two square feet of kitchen counter, and how you cant run away for alone time when you have a fight with your partner. This is loft life.
This is an old pic of my bedroom. We took this mir This is an old pic of my bedroom. We took this mirror down to have the exposed ducts replaced around Thanksgiving, and the mirror hasn’t gone back up. No reason, just purely out of energy to put this place back together. ⁣

We’ll put it back together soon though. But in the meantime I’ve been getting dressed not based on how things look but how they feel. And that’s been strange but fun. I’m not sure I’ll keep it up when the stakes are higher than “someone I know might see me at the grocery store,” but it has felt spiritually good to not have a full length mirror for a while. ⁣
